Business to Business

We have been so busy I haven't had time to catch up with this blog, but it has been a wonderful summer for Zigzag. We have had a variety of commisions, from this sweet little bunting we made for Julie at Sockies for her Craft Fairs, to some printed bunting for Topshop and Somerfields using our new print facilities which allow us to print on fabric in small quantities.

Shops Love Zigzag Bunting

Our local Shoon store in Winchester is using our Zigzag stripey bunting in their display again this month: we made a whole load for their Head Office a while back for distribution to their stores, so it is lovely to see our bunting up and looking good in the shop.

We have also sent a batch of vintage-effect Union Jack bunting to the French Connection flagship store on the King's Road in London for their new display (hopefully they will send us some pictures, we haven't had a chance to get up there ourselves to see our bunting in action).

Latest news: Zigzag Bunting is being made for dispatch to the Eastenders' recording studios, so perhaps we will be on the little screen once more!

We travelled to Normandy on our Easter holidays and took along a few of our recent buntings. Lovely to have some different backgrounds, and they all dressed up the farmhouse beautifully.

Wedding Flowers

Our new Eau-de-nil bunting features in this month's Wedding Flowers magazine, and they have also used our Rose Pink bunting to advertise on another page, so we are getting plenty of publicity this month and the orders are rolling in. Pretty floral fabrics are hard to find at the moment, so we are working hard to source new designs for the Summer, whilst enjoying being a part of so many brides' wedding plans.

Zigzag Bunting on TV

We were asked recently whether Zigzag Bunting has ever been on TV, and the answer is a big 'Yes'! Our TV credits include The Colin & Justin Home Show, DIY SOS http://www.bbc.co.uk/homes/tv_and_radio/diysos_specialtwo.shtml, The Hotel Inspector and a spot on a regional BBC TV guide to camping at music festivals: they recommended using our bunting to make your tent clearly identifiable through the mud and chaos. Should I pack some bunting for my teenage son when he goes off to Reading Festival this summer?

Party Time

Well, our bunting continues to be as popular as ever ! Most recently we have made bunting for a West Country Donkey Farm to help them with fundraising, Bespoke Bunting for an organic Flower Farmer to help advertise her goodies at Farmers' Markets, some more bunting for The Big Chill's birthday party in London, and some aged Union Jack bunting for a wonderful little company renting out characterful camper vans for family holidays. Meanwhile we can't resist sending bunting as presents to family and friends, those birthday parties all need a bit of cotton bunting to add 'green' cheer.

Good to see that Tatler knows good bunting when they see it: Zigzag Union Jack bunting made to their specifications graces the pages of the April edition of Tatler in the company of Christian Dior, Vivienne Westwood, Prada et al. We are always happy to help!
